Washing line.

A peg-bag hanging from a washing line can be supported in equilibrium by two straight strings inclined at angles α and ß to the horizontal. Why in practice will α and ß never differ by very much?

Just wondering what people say to this...

Re: Washing line.

Because if you are comparing to a big angle like 70 degrees, then they will
both be small like 1, 2, 3, or 4 degrees.
