A manufracturer gains 50% on each article sold. A wholesale merchant purchases the articles from the manufracturer and gains 25% on each articlesold by him. A retailer who buys from the wholesale dealer gains 10% on each articlesold by him. If an article costa Rs.200 to the manufracturer,at what price is the article sold by the retailer?

Re: sp

Rs.412.50.

Article cost = Rs.200/- to the manufacturer.
Manufacturer's margin when sold to wholesaler = 50%
Add 50%, i.e. Rs.100/- Price=Rs.300/-
Wholesaler's margin when sold to retialer=25%, Add Rs.75/-, Price: Rs.375/-
Retailer's margine=10%, Add Rs.37.50, Price=Rs.412.50.
