Can anyone tell me where I'm going wrong?
A stone is dropped from the top of a tower. One second later another stone is thrown vertically downwards from the same point with a velocity of 14ms-¹. If they hit the ground together, find the height of the tower.
Quick response please!

s = 14(t-1) + 4.905(t-1)², for thrown stone.
I like how you worked it through to the end even when you got a negative time.
Why did the vector cross the road?
It wanted to be normal.

Edit: Oops, forgot to say thanks
