As the title of this Post says! Kills 99.999... Percent of all Germs! and not 100 Percent! as we know would be Impossible...........

Re: Domestos Kills Germs!

holy smokes! this germ is only 0.999... percent dead! quick quick! Deploy every whiteblood cell in the immune system before it infects us all!

Re: Domestos Kills Germs!

That's funny, ARB, their own website says nothing of the sort.  In fact, the only thing it says is that you can't kill them all.  It says nothing about percentage of germs killed.

All of anything equals 100 Percent! Less than All equals Less than 100 Percent.

It's a mathematical breakthrough! Numbers less than 100 are less than 100. Genius! ;-)

Don't you think you'd be going a bit overboard if you did that, Mikau?

Re: Domestos Kills Germs!

Just to make things clearer about this Post!

It was the Demestos firms own TV Commercial that Stated the Quote below!

DEMESTOS KILLS 99.999 PERCENT OF ALL KNOWN GERMS

Look out for it!.. they must have been wise with the above Quote! and not falling for the 100 Percent Trap! after reading some of my other famous irrefutable Quotes especially the ones now embedded on Wikipedia!....

Re: Domestos Kills Germs!

I don't think ARB realizes that 99.999 is simply the number 99 + 999/1000.  Perhaps he is in a little bit over his head.

Re: Domestos Kills Germs!

I think the confusion is that nobody really knows what the point of this post is.

All you're stating is that something doesn't kill all germs, just most. Okay... so what's the problem? That's probably just a legal thing, since if there turns out that something slips through, they can just claim that it was in the 0.001% that they don't kill and avoid getting sued.

99.999 =/= 99.999...

100 - 0.001 = 99.999
That doesn't mean that 99.999... < 1000 though, if that's the "penny" you're trying to use this argument to prove.

Re: Domestos Kills Germs!

All I know is ... I am glad I am not a germ, a .001% chance of survival is not very comforting.

Note: Chuck Norris can kill 100% of germs.

Re: Domestos Kills Germs!

All of the so called Brains? are missing the Point!...

.001% In the Germ world! is enough undetected Germs! to close down Domestos in the Law courts! if they where Fools enough to state a 100% Detection Rate for their Product..
I´ts only Math type people who think something unseen or impossible to Calculate to the True end! can have a 100% Value! i.e Infinite/Recurring Numbers?..
