Basic Negative Number Excercises

You'll find some numbers below zero here - Negative numbers. None of them are too hard.

1. 40 metres below sea level = ?m
2. A temperature of 8 degrees below zero =
3. At 9pm, the temperature was 2°C. By midnight, the temperature had dropped to -5°C. By how many degrees had the temperature fallen?
4. The temperature at midnight was -3°C. By 8am, the temperature had risen by 6°C. What was the temperature at 8am?

Barcelona = 17°C
Berlin = 8°C
London = 5°C
Moscow = -9°C
New York = 7°C
Oslo = -5°C

You don't need to be jealous of smart people ... in fact if you hang around smart people you get smarter yourself!

All correct except #3 and #6 ... please check them. wink

Lately I have been getting many rude comments sent to me through e-mail, YouTube, etc. ... what has caused all of this to come on the same day?
