Distance

Yolanda walked a distance of 3 miles in 90 minutes. If her speed for the first mile was 6 miles per hour, how many minutes did it take her to walk the rest of the distance?

Re: Distance

6 miles per hour = 6 miles per 60 minutes = .1 miles per minute.

So if she went one mile, it took 10 minutes. 90 - 10 = 80, so she had 80 minutes left to walk.

Some how that doesn't seem right...

There are 10 types of people in the world, those who understand binary, those who don't, and those who can use induction.
