Re: Hi?I tried dozens of combinations and none of them work ... it may be impossible to do following those instructions! "The physicists defer only to mathematicians, and the mathematicians defer only to God ..." - Leon M. Lederman #4 2005-05-29 19:23:37
Re: Hi?(6 + 6) \ 6 + 6 = 8 Boy let me tell you what: I bet you didn't know it, but I'm a fiddle player too. And if you'd care to take a dare, I'll make a bet with you. #5 2005-05-30 18:28:47
Re: Hi?i hve too tried a dozen of combinations and i kept trying for 2 hrs. its not working! #6 2005-05-30 20:14:03
Re: Hi?I think that's impossible, because straight off I realised that you are only working with numbers in the 6 times table, no matter what you do. Is nine one of them? School is practice for the future. Practice makes perfect. But - nobody's perfect, so why practice? #7 2005-05-30 20:19:28
Re: Hi?9's not in the 6 times table. Numpty. But, if there were 5 6's, I expect I could get it to work... Boy let me tell you what: I bet you didn't know it, but I'm a fiddle player too. And if you'd care to take a dare, I'll make a bet with you. #8 2005-05-30 20:54:16

Re: Hi?
Nothing is really impossible in life but in maths that is the hard thing about their is only one answer and quite a lot of things are impossible in MATHS!!!!!!!!!!! #11 2005-06-05 08:59:32

Re: Hi?
or even 'i' Why did the vector cross the road? It wanted to be normal. #18 2005-06-24 07:59:32
Re: Hi?
Yes, that is what is so interesting. Maths goes beyond what we think is real, and shows us a reality far exceeding our normal experience. Every so often this new reality shows us a new thing about our normal life. "The physicists defer only to mathematicians, and the mathematicians defer only to God ..." - Leon M.
