soroban, I spent ten minutes with lots of summations of fourth powers and could find
nothing that adds up or adds and subtracts to another power of 4.  Sorry.
But I like what you came up with.

There definitely are natural numbers a, b, c, d such that a^4 + b^4 + c^4 = d^4.

I remember reading about it, because that was a conjecture for quite a while and then someone found a set that worked. They're all huge though, and I can't remember what they were.
