If you click 'Help' > 'About Internet Explorer' it does.

Usually under the 'About' section it will almost always have the version number on it.

Sometimes it just shows the creators, though. >_>

But there's no code involved in most of the things you are asking. In fact, the post above your post stated that there is almost always an 'About' tab in a program window. And under that tab lies the version information, usually.

I think the max avatar size should be 100x100 pixels like most forums. I have a cute sakura pic that I want to use.
