I am intending on replacing my old Multiplication - Times Tables page with this one:
It places much more emphasis on simply remembering the tables, and says to use the "Math Trainer".
Do you believe this is a better approach?

The trainer would be helpful to young learners.
I think its important for a middle school-high school student to know by memory tables up to 20x20.
When I learnt, I did only up to 12 x 10.
Thereafter, it was mental calculation.
Past 20x20, I personally feel its better to calculate than remember.

I think that this is a good approach. I like the fact that you said that the chart actually 'halves' itself to help you learn. I don't actually know if this is the best way, though. I learned my tables at a very young age, at that time I had never heard of this chart. But anyway, I think this is a good way.
I only ever learnt my tables to 12*12, I don't think it's necessary to learn past that
So, if you were a young student who had to learn his tables, is this the best we can do to help?
I wouldn't actually say the absolutely best way to do it, but it is probably one of the best, so, yeah, I guess.
Toast: I think it is very necessary to learn past 12x12...if anyone could learn them up to 100 it would be a lot easier!
