Like/Dislike of MathsWhy do you think that some people love maths and others loathe it? #2 2007-01-14 23:01:16
Re: Like/Dislike of MathsI'd say one of the main reasons is that on one occasion they got an uninteresting lesson. People start to insult mathematics when they can't handle the complexity of it, and have a focus on other parts of the curriculum. #3 2007-01-15 08:59:15
Re: Like/Dislike of MathsYes, once you miss a couple of important concepts the rest is just plain confusing. Mathematics is a big "build on previous concepts" subject, isn't it? Re: Like/Dislike of MathsI think the majority of people who don't like maths do so because they don't see the point of it. And to an extent that's true. Why did the vector cross the road? It wanted to be normal. |
