### First Post

Hello everyone at Math is Fun. I am Watanake. I really love math and was glad to find this forum. I am interested in set theory. I just started learning about it. I really enjoyed the thread on group theory. Hope eventually I can add something useful to one of the threads.

Oh, Hi watanake.  Thanks for finding us.  I love this forum.  I found it about a year ago myself!
I don't know what set theory is or group theory is, but I have a lot of fun trying out questions and reading new things now and then.

I love set theory myself.  My reason is that almost no matter what math you learn, it has something to do with sets.  They are so basic yet so powerful.

"In the real world, this would be a problem.  But in mathematics, we can just define a place where this problem doesn't exist.  So we'll go ahead and do that now..."

I am new to this forum.  I teach at the high school level Special Education (functionally mentally delayed students).  I am currently working on a RANK I program and I am looking for ideas that will help me teach money concepts, banking, and check writing.  Any ideas would be helpful!
