How can the goat escape?

A goat is stuck in a field, and wants to escape. The fence around the field is high enough for the goat to jump over.Also the goat has a chain around its neck. The chain is only a metre long, wheras the field is ten metres squared.
How can the goat escape from the field?

School is practice for the future. Practice makes perfect. But - nobody's perfect, so why practice?
