Why not make a forum dedicated to non-mathematic ventures? It could be where poems, member writings, music and art could go. While I realise this is a maths website, I just think this'd be a good idea anyway.

Yes - This would be a good idea. Then it wouldn't get buried under numerous posts of spam. And perhaps we could say that no one is to comment on them.

We already have Dark Discussions, and I'm not sure we actually need another forum like that. Could the non-mathematic ventures go in there?

I have always confused the 'Dark Discussions at Café Infinity' forum and the 'This Is Cool' forum together. They seem so similar.

'This is Cool' is for new (personal) discoveries about science, maths, or talk about 'cool' stuff like that.
'Dark Discussions' is general discussion.

Hmm...that sounds like a pretty good idea, except we would have to take into consideration how much those forums would be used. This forum is mainly a mathematical forum, and I think music and art would be fine - I'm thinking a combined forum. But then again, we have a Dark Discussions at Café Infinity forum, which is used for general discussions, or, basically, anything.

Music falls into art, and they are both quite similar. Music is a form of art, and vice versa; Therefore I think they should be combined, or made a part of the Dark Discussions at Café Infinity forum.

but they're expressed and interpreted with different senses--they should be separate! but that's just my opinion. it's probably not good enough for you, though...
