Maths is front page news!

Indeed a maths-orientated article has made it to the front page of the much-used Wikipedia as the article of the day!

Have a gander at the main page, or the article itself if you're not reading this today (if that last bit makes any real sense...).

My favorite is the Nested intervals and least upper bounds.  I knew about all the things the article mentioned, but the way in which it is applied is so clever.


"In the real world, this would be a problem.  But in mathematics, we can just define a place where this problem doesn't exist.  So we'll go ahead and do that now..."
