Help!!!

Hello,

I am very stuck on the following question:

The spherical coordinates of (-3, 4, -12) are (x, y, z). Find tan(x) + tan(z).

If anyone understands, help would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Re: Help!!!

Hi lajumdar,

Welcome to the forum.  I am unclear what is wanted here.  Is that the exact question?

Note that

but what angle is 'x' for example?

Maybe tell us what question in this topic you can do, so we get an idea where this is from.
