Graphing calculator art help

Hi, i've been playing around with my TI-84 Plus CE and i was wondering if there was any way to plot a finite line, say from (1,1) to (1,5). That would be a great help with making certain shapes and graphing art

Re: Graphing calculator art help

Hi;

What does the manual say?

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
If it ain't broke, fix it until it is.
Always satisfy the Prime Directive of getting the right answer above all else.

hi ShizamedX

Welcome to the forum.

The manual only gives two options:  enter an equation in the form Y = and enter coordinates and let the machine produce a regression line.  So it looks like Texas haven't included a finite line option.

You can do it with Geogebra.
