Re: mcq help for final exams

I did  not get get question 2?? When Square brackets are put beside a no. , it means the GIF(greatest integar function) of the number. What do you mean here?

I did not get question 3 too.

Did not get question 5 again.

Question 7: It depends on the function of x.

Question 10:No,again did not get it.

What are the values of i and j in each question?

Re: mcq help for final exams

Hi;

question 1 Check the denominator, what happens when x = 3?

question 2 Have no idea.

question 3,4,5 No idea.

question 8 The point of intersection with the y axis is (0, -3/7) can you finish now?

question 10 Check the dot product of those two vectors.

Re: mcq help for final exams

No formula used there ??
How can you prove your line A line is parallel to an axis if the other axis=a constant. For e.g. y=5 will have a line parallel to the x axis.
A line is parallel if m1=m2???

Commutative law hold In???

Commutative law holds in multiplication and addition, but not in subtraction and division since

Re: mcq help for final exams

Hi;

question:9   ax+by+c will represent eq of straight line parallel to y axis if??

I think that first you should have an equation. ax+by+c is not an equation. ax+by+c = 0 is an equation. Equations have equal signs in them.

Re: mcq help for final exams

I would solve for y and make use of the standard slope equation y = mx + b
