^Italy did win, yes. It was 1-1 and it went to penalties - And Italy strangely won on penalties...

Zidane, the French player did the headbutting. wink

Thanks for the explanation.  Funny how upset people get with each other.  Insult escalates to chest jolt.  Probably hurt and could have affected his heart.

So is soccer (football) called soccer only in the US?? 
Is there a third word that is used in another language that doesn't even
look close to soccer or football??
