Linear Equations involving floor

How do I solve x for all real numbers?

floor((2x+1)/3) + floor((4x+5)/6) = (3x-1)/2

Re: Linear Equations involving floor

It is not too difficult to possibly get answers using numerical methods and then using PSLQ or something like that to convert to exact answers.

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
If it ain't broke, fix it until it is.
Always satisfy the Prime Directive of getting the right answer above all else.
