I have this relative/friend who often does this.
Person: *pings me 3-4 times*
Me: Hello
Person: I have a problem. *Insert Problem here*
Me: Okay, I will try the problem.
Person: Be fast. I have *insert event* tomorrow. *Gives another problem which I am not really willing to do*
How do I tell him/her he is being annoying without being rude?
'And fun? If maths is fun, then getting a tooth extraction is fun. A viral infection is fun. Rabies shots are fun.'
'God exists because Mathematics is consistent, and the devil exists because we cannot prove it'
I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

hi Agnishom,
hhmm, annoying I can see.
plan 1: Just be useless about doing the problems, so they stop coming.
plan 2: Apologise that you won't have time to do the problem (busy with your own studies) and refer them to the forum. Let someone else take the strain.

Invent a device to obliterate him or work on the problem anyway.
In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
If it ain't broke, fix it until it is.
Always satisfy the Prime Directive of getting the right answer above all else.
