Re: What does the future hold in store for mankind and the world?

Non David, je ne viens pas de France. Mais j'aime la langue française et les français en général. Je voudrais rendre visite au pays un jour.
Parlez-vous bien le français? Êtes-vous français? Si non, où est-ce que vous avez appris le français?

No pain at all but I should have been awake...

I am feeling something, I can't explain it. The pope is going to visit Philadelphia.

Shame he is not coming further south to Florida. The weather is nicer, more like what he is accustomed to in Rome.

In the swamp - jungle there is nothing to hitchhike. It is just you versus nature.

Then I would say that he should not go hiking in the jungle.

Asreroids are coming.  If they don't smack us hard enough they could still bring deadly microbes.  Or Yellowstone may pop before then.  Or we'll do ourselves in in our own way.  Global warming may release too much methane from the ocean floor.  Or...it don't matter anyway if we're still here when the sun becomes a red giant.  We better get on the stick about such stuff.  Dear me,  makes me depressed.  Better go eat me some chocolate.
