Oh no. You better reconsider that. I had found out about the truth.

Hi;

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
If it ain't broke, fix it until it is.

what kind of feeling?

There are many good lessons in the Bible. But there are also parts with ideas of morality that I do not agree with, or sometimes even find offensive.

The people of the old testament lived a long time ago. Things were very different and laws and customs different too.

Yes, but the conclusion to draw from #107 is that one should always check with his ownself before coming to conclusions.

The great Buddy Hall once said it is okay to talk to yourself, it is okay to even answer yourself, just do not say, huh.

For an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the Bible, see the book 'What Does the Bible Really Teach?' available online at www.jw.org. You can start by reading Chapter 2 and continue with the others.

Cheers

Re: What does the future hold in store for mankind and the world?

How about just reading the Bible itself?

Re: What does the future hold in store for mankind and the world?

Yes Agnishom, in fact that is the best way. But you may not understand some things you read at the first instance or you may, on your own, misinterpret some scriptures. But this book I'm referring to, as the name suggests, help you understand the actual message of the Bible. To illustrate: If you find a   barrel of  water and you need some water to drink, would you lower your head into the barrel and drink of it? Certainly not. The very rational thing to do would be to fetch some of the water with a cup. So in this case, the Bible is the barrel of water from and this book 'What Does the Bible Really Teach?' is the cup helping you to draw water. You often hear people say "Water is life". In like manner, knowledge of Bible truths will lead you to everlasting life.

Re: What does the future hold in store for mankind and the world?

I am not sure. What if this meta-Bible book is actually interpreting it the wrong way?

The bible alone is the water and the cup. Jesus is not the incarnate of Micheal as the Jehovah's Witness believes.
Who is like God? Certainly not Micheal.

Re: What does the future hold in store for mankind and the world?

@Agnishom, don't you think you're jumping ahead of things? You're judging the book even before knowing what it says. This book quotes Bible texts and gives a deep and accurate understanding of them. In any case, if you don't what to search through the book, then LET SCRIPTURE EXPLAIN SCRIPTURE. The best way to learn about the Bible is by examining the Bible itself. While at that, you must also believe and acknowledge that you will know the truth only from the Bible and not what anybody can postulate.

I did not mean to sound offensive, sorry.

I have read parts of the Bible

@David, isn't it interesting that the name Micheal itself means 'Who is like God?'

No Agnishom, don't be sorry. You've offended no one here.
