I believe it was you who said he was a detective. How is it you remember ny insane quotes but do not remember what you post?

No, I do not. He is the legendary David Sklansky, one of my early teachers. But I have seen some examples of actuarial math and just let me say most math types could not go through the problems.

If people do not believe that mathematics is simple, it is only because they do not realize how complicated life is.

Actually, I think life is much easier than mathematics.

Yep, according to pappym all of life can be summed up in one word.

I do not think that is it. Remember, pappym was thousands of times smarter than I am. I was rarely able to understand him.

pappym had partial access to that big library in the sky. I do not.

How does Newton relate?

Re: In a building, which floor is the safest?

Newton was described by his comtemporaries as having terrifying powers of concentration. In addition he was capable of some of the techniques known to your people thousands of years ago. With those siddhis he was able to tap into the library and therefore was the smartest man then and now.

Well, the two of you are not real. That would make Newton not real as well?

For the purposes of this discussion we can say he is real.

I doubt that claim. Can you show that using two different methods?

Mathematics is a superset of reality, so, yes, you do.

You are confusing EM and the way I view it with reality.
