Playing with predictive typing

iOS 8 has a predictive keyboard. Probably Android has one too. It tries predicts what you're going to type next. The results are often hilarious and worth sharing.

Here is what I got by manual input of the first word of the sentence:

*bobbym is the only one who has been in my room.
*Mathematics is a great way to the gym.
*Don't forget the haters cause somebody loves you so much.
*A new song is the best thing ever.

Here is what I got without any manual input at all:

*I'm not sure if I had to do it again.
*The fact that I can see you in the morning is the best.
*I love you so much.
*You can get a job at my school.

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

Re: Playing with predictive typing

Makes perfect sense to me. Predictive? They should stick to creating an OS that works rather than adding newfangled features.

The OS works.

Which part makes perfect sense to you?

Re: Playing with predictive typing

I have yet to see the wondrous 7 or 8, as you know I ran XP, Suse, Knoppix, Slax and Vista. Now Mint.

Re: Playing with predictive typing

We are not talking about Windows. If we had been talking about Windows, I'd not have said that it works.

Re: Playing with predictive typing

Getting back to the output. It all seems good but I do not remember being in that room, was there a 101 on the door?

Re: Playing with predictive typing

No, it is a wooden door.

Can you suggest some more words so that I can use them as a seed to get more outputs?

Re: Playing with predictive typing

Yes but did it have a 101 on it?

Can you suggest some more words so that I can use them as a seed to get more outputs?

Back in my day we only had Eliza to talk to.

Re: Playing with predictive typing

What's 101?

I know of Eliza but what about some more words?

Try Mother, Father...

What's 101?

Hmmm, battle of the ages.

Re: Playing with predictive typing

In George Orwell's book 1984, those who are against the state are arrested and brainwashed into abandoning their beliefs.  One 'torture' is to be taken to room 101, where they will meet their worst nightmare.  BBC TV has made a light hearted program in which 'celebrities' are asked for their pet hates, and after some comedy, some hates are consigned to room 101.  So either way you view it, room 101 contains all the things people hate.  In one program, someone suggested room 101 itself be put in the room.  The presenter agreed to this and the screen went blank.  But don't panic, further series have appeared since.
