Hi everyone!

I stumbled upon Math is Fun a few hours ago and found it fascinating (like a lot of people in this forum I presume).

My age being 24 years old and my college education business, math never appealed specially to me in the past. But for some inexplicable reason I am very keen to catch up. I resolve to build from the ground up as much mathematical understanding as I can by mastering every concept.

It is my hope to meet and learn from a lot of you in this forum and ideally exchange some interesting thoughts in the future.

Best wishes,
O. Kouhlani

Hi okouhlani,

Welcome to the forum!

It appears to me that if one wants to make progress in mathematics, one should study the masters and not the pupils. - Niels Henrik Abel.

Welcome to the forum.

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
If it ain't broke, fix it until it is.
Always satisfy the Prime Directive of getting the right answer above all else.

Re: Hi everyone!

Thank you!

anonimnystefy - I don't think I have a special favorite, I could pick rainbow to enclose them all, just as blue could encompass all sorts different shades/colors. Do you like any in particular - what's your favorite?

Do you like carrots?

Re: Hi everyone!

I think do you like carrot juice is the correct phrase.

Hi okouhlani

Well, pure blue would be 0x0000FF. My favourite would be 0x000000.

Hi bobbym

There is difference between carrots and carrot juice.

He was a scientist who liked to ask people whether or not they like carrot juice. He was also an Otark.
