Spin-Orbit Coupling

Can someone here explain me this?

Re: Spin-Orbit Coupling

Can you explain in your own words?

Re: Spin-Orbit Coupling

I'm on my phone, so I'll explain later, but please tell me they aren't teaching QM in class 11.

Re: Spin-Orbit Coupling

There is a darn good pdf all in mathematica about orbitals.

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.

I agree with you regarding the satisfaction and importance of actually computing some numbers. I can't tell you how often I see time and money wasted because someone didn't bother to run the numbers.

Nope, there is no way in the world I could ever twist my brain so that I become a quantum boy.
