Bitter Bafflers

Hi;

You will need a sharpened head for this one.

The following problem came up elsewhere, you are given the 2 functions:

There is a parabola with a minima of - 3. You are given the image below and asked to determine the area in red.

Important: The answer must be given in this form:

and only that form. That means no other terms. You will have to determine the a,b,c and t in a rational way.
