maths question.

It has been reasoned,by some, that a prophecy of 2300 years ended in 1844 AD.As part of this prophecy 490 years was given over for the completion of an issue. This then left 1810 years,2300 years - 490 years. The 2300 years began in 456 BC and ended in 34 AD = 490 years. As there was 1810 years left they reckoned that the prophecy ended in 1844 AD by adding 34 AD to 1810 AD.I can not work this out for the 34 years was part of the 490 years which was taken from the 2300 years in order to get the remainder of the 2300 years which was 1810 years, then they added the 34 of AD years to the remainder 1810 and came up with the 2300 years ending in 1844 AD.Using the above can you please tell me in what AD year did the 2300 years end....Aidan.
