Re: Polls and no posts count

I think we need a few more dark layouts like Cobalt but ones where we can read LaTeX and there should be more colour than just black.

Right now, I am struggling just to get it to render.

It works for any blockable image or banner and some more things.

Re: Polls and no posts count

I will try to think of some rules which aren't already in place.

I think we need a homework template which includes:
1. Homework Problem
2. Relevant information (formulas, theorems, equations, concepts etc which may be helpful in answering the question)
3. What you have tried so far (even if fruitlessly)

Re: Polls and no posts count

We do have a homework rule but when I ask to show work usually someone else just gives them the answer.

Re: Polls and no posts count

Make a rule that unless someone has made substantial effort, you can't give a full solution.

Re: Polls and no posts count

The measure of any set of rules is the police force that is designed to enforce it...

What should happen to anyone that breaks that rule?

Re: Polls and no posts count

A small warning? If they forget the rule then it's okay, but if they do it intentionally they should be dealt with anyway.

Re: Polls and no posts count

That just happened yesterday or so. I asked a person for some effort and someone else just came in and gave it to him.

Re: Polls and no posts count

Better organization

Combine all Personality (in profile) stuff with Display (maybe Signature can go under Personal).

This may sound too simple but small things matter most.
