Re: hi new here

Hi, psychicx.
For the percentages:
You ask in general:
How to find x percent of y?
It's simple.
I'll explain it in 2 steps:
1. Muliply x * y.
2. Divide the result by 100.
For your question we get:
51000 thousand dolars =51000*1000=51.000.000$
1. 8*51.000.000=408.000.000
2. 408.000.000:100=4.080.000$
So 8% of 51,000 thousand dolars is 4,080,000$.
You can use every calculator to calculate percentages.

So 8% of 51000 is 4080 (dollars)

Welcome!

I have an online Percentage Calculator - it has explanations for you as well. A bit of practice, and you will be doing them in your head.
