### Compass designs

Recently I've been having a lot of fun making designs using a compass and a straightedge. I wonder if anyone knows what they are called so that I can learn more about them. Thanks!:)

Hi mashka4math;

Welcome to the forum. I think the first people to do that for arts sake were the Arabs, they call it Islamic design or art.

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
If it ain't broke, fix it until it is.
A number by itself is useful, but it is far more useful to know how accurate or certain that number is.

Hi;

You can also Google for "compass and a straightedge art"

Bet that this one took some time

To create some really good math art, you need to program it

'And fun? If maths is fun, then getting a tooth extraction is fun. A viral infection is fun. Rabies shots are fun.'
'God exists because Mathematics is consistent, and the devil exists because we cannot prove it'
I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.
