### which is the right result?

Hey!!I have a question..
Suppose  base=10 , precision t=3, -L=U=10 and

I want to calculate the relative error for B.
We don't make rounding.For example,if we have the value 345.924 it is equal to
and the corresponding floating number is

Could you tell me which is the result,so I can check mine?

I agree with you regarding the satisfaction and importance of actually computing some numbers. I can't tell you how often I see time and money wasted because someone didn't bother to run the numbers.
