Combine Algebra Fractions

I have been going through these exercises and have been doing ok until i got to this question. What confuses me is the lowest common denominator and i get the answer wrong sad

my answer is sooo far off the book ><
Is the LCD

??

maybe this step is what i messed up i changed the sign of the fraction because i reversed1-x to x-1

any advice much appreciated thank you

the books answer said the denominator will be x - 1 how is that possible when in the denominator of the 3rd fraction was

YEEEEEEEEAH someone helped me out

problem was the x + 1 cancel out after i factor the numerator.
