way to import data from excel to LPSolve IDE

hello, everyone. I'm new here. I just find this website and wonder if i could ask about the linear programming software here. my lecturer had gave me an assignment asking me to solve an OR model with 100 variables by using LPSolve IDE. all the data included in Microsoft Excel. may i ask is there any way to import the data to LPSolve IDE? because if i manually type the data it may become a tedious work. Thank you.

Re: way to import data from excel to LPSolve IDE

hi killer_1021

Welcome to the forum.

I'm not familiar with this software but it looks like it will accept data in a csv, comma separated variable, format.

http://lpsolve.sourceforge.net/5.5/

Hope that helps,

Bob
