1. area = 4 * pi * r^2
area = 4 * pi * 6^2
area = 4 * pi * 36
area = 144pi

What are the two formulas for number 2 and 3?

Oh wait I got it. Volume of sphere = (4/3)(PI)r^3
and
surface area of cylinder is T = 2(PI)rh + 2(PI)r^2
cylinder volume is V = (PI)(r^2)h

I'll do numbers 2, 3, 4 and post them now.

T = (PI)rs + (PI)r^2
t = pi * 6 * 10 + pi * 6^2
t = 60pi + 36pi
t = 96pi (A)

6. Volume of the cone
V = (1/3)(PI)(r^2)h
v = (1/3) * pi * 6^2 * 8
v = 1/3 * pi * 36 * 8
v = 96pi (C)

I also think I figured out the next step for number 3

T = 2(PI)rh + 2(PI)r^2
t = 2 * pi * 48 + 2(pi) * 6^2
t = 2 * pi * 48 + 2pi * 36
t = 96pi + 36 *2pi

s^2 x 6 / 4 x tan(180/6)

area = 54 / 4 x tan(180/6)
area = 54 / 2.3094
area = 23.38

or

area = 1/2 (3sqrt3) * s^2
area = 1/2 (3sqrt3) * 3^2
area = 1/2 (3sqrt3) * 9
area = 23.38

2. If a hexagon has an area of 100 units, what is the length of one side?
100= 3√3 / 2 * s² | s = side
s^2 = 100 / 3√3 / 2
s^2 = 100 / 2.598076
s^2 = 38.490021
