Hi there, i have been sent a really tricky puzzle to solve:

8,7,6, 4, 5 ?
need the next number after 5. I have tried all ways and got answers of: 2, 6, 22 which are wrong. please help! I am not sure if this falls under the " non mathematical" sequence or not...

Re: Please help!

Hi;

Welcome to the forum. Can you say where it is from?

I am getting 18.

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
If it ain't broke, fix it until it is.
Always satisfy the Prime Directive of getting the right answer above all else.

Hi there,
This was a work related puzzle and we have to guess the next number in the sequence!

Hi;

Work related? What type of work? Since this is a non math related puzzle perhaps by the context the answer can be deduced.
