Re: Virus

Hi;

A virus is a biological construct consisting of a protein jacket or outer casing and either RNA or DNA packed inside. It can only infect living cells.

A computer virus, infects computers. It does not infect living organisms.

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it.

Re: Virus

The biological virus is on the edge between being living organism and not. It is because, besides replicating, it does not do anything other living organisms do (feed, grow, etc.).

The way they replicate is they attack a living cell and take over all its mechanisms. Then it "forces" the cell to make more viruses instead of creating more living cells. When they leave the cell, the cell is dead.

I also remember there being two cycles in the virus reproduction, one being what I already said. The other is, if I remember correctly, some sort of stasis. The virus enters a cell but doesn't replicate until there are favorable conditions to do so.

Also, people commonly confuse viruses and bacteria. The difference when trying to get rid of them is that antibiotics will work on bacteria, but not on a virus, because it is not exactly a living organism. What you can do is leave it to the immune system and try to strengthen your immune system by eating fruits with vitamin C, or get some drugs that inctease the level of immunity etc.

The limit operator is just an excuse for doing something you know you can't.

Re: Virus

Are viruses also grow on GP?

Re: Virus

Very dangerous in concept but has anyone seen a real live one?
