Beal's ConjectureWhat is the Beal's Conjecture's problem to prove? "The most incomprehensible thing about the universe is that it is comprehensible." Albert Einstein #2 20130805 23:33:09
Re: Beal's ConjectureThe million dollar problem. A, B, C, x, y, and z are integers and x, y, z > 2 A, B and C have a common prime factor. Prove it is always true or find a counterexample. Good luck! In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #3 20130806 00:03:51
Re: Beal's ConjectureHi; 'And fun? If maths is fun, then getting a tooth extraction is fun. A viral infection is fun. Rabies shots are fun.' 'God exists because Mathematics is consistent, and the devil exists because we cannot prove it' 'Who are you to judge everything?' Alokananda #4 20130806 00:05:36
Re: Beal's ConjectureHe will be flabbergasted! I would suggest trying something else though. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #5 20130806 01:04:56

Re: Beal's ConjectureFermat's was just a piece of Beals conjecture and it took over 300 years to solve. I think she will be too old for you by then.
I would suggest doing your schoolwork. Staying here and on brilliant. Eating your vegetables. Getting your sleep. Living a moral life. Honoring your parents. Continuing your Hindu tradition. No drinking, smoking, dope or modern music. Marrying a decent girl. Doing an honest days work... In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #7 20130806 01:20:46
Re: Beal's ConjectureIt will be a good idea to make an old person happy. Don't you think?

Re: Beal's ConjectureYou asked me to suggest something. That is something. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #9 20130806 01:29:27
Re: Beal's ConjectureI disagree with these:
Whats wrong with Beal's anyway? 'And fun? If maths is fun, then getting a tooth extraction is fun. A viral infection is fun. Rabies shots are fun.' 'God exists because Mathematics is consistent, and the devil exists because we cannot prove it' 'Who are you to judge everything?' Alokananda #10 20130806 01:34:49
Re: Beal's Conjecture
It goes against the whole school of modern thinking.
That will be your choice. I can only say as an old man to a young man, "you will come to know I am right." In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #11 20130806 01:57:40
Re: Beal's ConjecturePerhaps.. 'And fun? If maths is fun, then getting a tooth extraction is fun. A viral infection is fun. Rabies shots are fun.' 'God exists because Mathematics is consistent, and the devil exists because we cannot prove it' 'Who are you to judge everything?' Alokananda #12 20130806 01:58:52
Re: Beal's ConjectureBut by that time you will be an old man trying to convince yet another young man... Ad infinitum. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it. All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof. #13 20130806 03:10:52
Re: Beal's ConjectureThus is proved that the old man is thinking of an idea that is either deluded or thinking of too ideal a situation 'And fun? If maths is fun, then getting a tooth extraction is fun. A viral infection is fun. Rabies shots are fun.' 'God exists because Mathematics is consistent, and the devil exists because we cannot prove it' 'Who are you to judge everything?' Alokananda #14 20130806 03:18:32
