Are they kaboobly doo or just used by kaboobly dooists? Do mathematicians really use Simpson's ?

Now I ain't saying these guys are wrong or right. After all what the heck could a bumpkin like

Are the books bad, or is this article kaboobly doo^kaboobly doo?

And most engineers will tell you that they have to "undo" much of what the calculus course does to their students.

I presume you have not had the pleasure of reading AoPS's Calculus book.

Hi;

The opinions of that book are not necessarily mine. I can not get by the paradox that a calculus book says calculus books stink.

"Analytical Geometry and Calculus" by Smail and "Calculus Made Easy" were the best I have ever seen.

Have read both yet they focus too much on sheer computation.

I do not agree but computation is what got the Rover up there on Mars, discovers new planets, builds all the weaponry that fights our wars. I could not imagine a world without it.

Yes. But then again who would buy their planned book if it was called "Yet another calculus book" ?

Hi;

I agree, that title will decrease sales. I suggest "Simply Simple Calculus."
