Re: Ascent of Sap

As far as I can understand it there is a pressure difference in the tube. Energy flows from a position of high potential to a lower one. Pressure is the same way. The sap is forced up the tube because the pressure is greater at the base.

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.

Re: Ascent of Sap

May I ask you a personal question?

'And fun? If maths is fun, then getting a tooth extraction is fun. A viral infection is fun. Rabies shots are fun.'
'God exists because Mathematics is consistent, and the devil exists because we cannot prove it'
I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

You sure can. Just make it a good one.

Re: Ascent of Sap

Are you really satisfied with the generally accepted theory behind the Ascent of Sap?

'And fun? If maths is fun, then getting a tooth extraction is fun. A viral infection is fun. Rabies shots are fun.'

Re: Ascent of Sap

I do not find any bit of modern science convincing. That is why I do math and only computational math.

why is it so..?

Jake is Alice's father, Jake is the ________ of Alice's father?
Why is T called island letter?
think, think, think and don't get up with a solution...

If you read the other posts you will see one reason.

Yes and microbiology. Fortunately I was very fickle.
