### Reciprocation

Given a circle (x-1)^2+(y+1)^2=16 and a point (5,6),what will be the reciprocation line of this point?

### Re: Reciprocation

Have you tried first finding the inverse of the point with respect to the circle?

The limit operator is just an excuse for doing something you know you can't.

How far did you make it with the problem?

### Re: Reciprocation

Hi,if my calculations are correct then the inversion point is (129/65,47/65)
EDIT:the problem isn't as hard as i thaught,i am getting the line 4x+7y+13=0,is it correct?

### Re: Reciprocation

Everything is correct except it should be -13 in the line equation. Good job!
