I really appreciate your help. What is your math background? It seems like you are quite a math person.

Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Stop right there. Glad to help you, but ease up on the praise, it's unjustified. Loved math, until I ran into a certain professor. Walked out on her and math! Went into computers so I wouldn't have to do any more math. Found out I needed more math than ever before. Lots of smarter people right here in this forum.

How did this professor change your life?

'And fun? If maths is fun, then getting a tooth extraction is fun. A viral infection is fun. Rabies shots are fun.'

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

She didn't. As you already know only I can change my life. People can try to influence you by deceit or brutality. In her case it was brutality.

I remember Karney, he was just trying to be nice. Anyway, if I saw this post today I would remove it.

It caused much problems with two established members who suddenly began to dislike me. One, I did not care about but the other...

I wished he had not posted it.

An interesting side effect of comments like that was the enlargement of my head. It grew so large that I needed a can of Pennzoil 10W - 60 to get into my apartment. Before entering I would smear the lubricant around my head. It was the only way I could force it through the door.

With my sharpened head now, I just lower it and charge.

That's just modesty. And I highly doubt there are people on this forum more intelligent - perhaps MIF. But him too not in terms of experience.

I know that modesty bothers people. It makes them feel uncomfortable so let me amend it:

That comment was made 4 years ago. Back then there might have been someone, somewhere that was slightly smarter, maybe.

This type of braggadocio is annoying too.

And I highly doubt there are people on this forum more intelligent - perhaps MIF.

I could make up a list of those people but if I missed some through carelessness or because I do not think so, they would be mightily annoyed.

Actually, he just said I was a math person which could mean anything. I went off the deep end in post #2. I was only here a month and I did not want to offend any of the established members, because of that I overreacted. I was not angry but I was embarassed. My reply just sounded like false modesty to a lot of people and that is even worse.

What is funny though is the young people dig up these old posts and the old folks do not.

Why should a comment on an Administrator bother established members?

I was actually searching through the forum on your username to get the intergalactic bobbym day thread.

Whether or not old folks dig these up you can't say, you haven't seen this behaviour from a lot of old folks to generalise

I was not an administrator back then. I had only been here a month.

You remembered that?

Ah, true. You became a Mod exactly half a year later.

I doubt they have an age switching thing either. Soon, they will be able to provide extra telemorase though.

First you have to find a way to reverse the damage done by 93 years.

Reverse cell division is pretty far away. It would be much quicker if the government cared for humankind and allowed stem-cell research.

There is a guy on a Chinese forum that has a couple of million members that has over 1 million posts. I think he gets a couple of hundred a day, average!
