A google a day,My Version!

This is my version of Google a Day
I have 10 hard questions and you will get points.
1.When did James Clerk Maxwell die?
2.What is A wormhole also named?
3.Who said this famous quote?
This analysis forces one to consider situations...where there is a net flux of lines of force, through what topologists would call "a handle" of the multiply-connected space, and what physicists might perhaps be excused for more vividly terming a "wormhole".
A.Albert Einstein
2.John Wheeler

Re: A google a day,My Version!

1) Maxwell died? I do not remember.

2) That is an Einstein - Rosen bridge.

3) It wasn't the third guy. I choose John Archibald Wheeler, whose book on gravitation - yecch!

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.

I agree with you regarding the satisfaction and importance of actually computing some numbers. I can't tell you how often I see time and money wasted because someone didn't bother to run the numbers.

Re: A google a day,My Version!

1) The positive electron or positron was first conjectured by Dirac. When it was discovered I do not know.

2) An alpha particle is a helium nucleus, it consists of 2 neutrons and 2 protons. There are no electrons.
