scientific calculator --tan

can anyone tell me how to invert a tan to an angle by using a scientitific calculator

i have a casio if this is any help

I don't know which model you have, but by definition arctan x of tan x would give you the angle.
There should be an arctan function on your calculator.  Like my little solar casio, you have to press (shift) then (tan) to convert back to degrees.


I am at an age where I have forgotten more than I remember, but I still pretend to know it all.
