Berliner's aperiodic tilingWe all know what are the tessellations. If you just look at a tiled floor you see a regular tiling, then there are aperiodic tiling, which don't have a pattern. Here there are two aperiodic tiling. In picture 1 there is an aperiodic tiling with two tiles. In picture 2 you will see where I got the tiles. In picture 3 there's another aperiodic tiling whit one only tile. Mathematichs is the queen of sciences C. F. Gauss #2 20130417 04:41:30

Re: Berliner's aperiodic tilingLooks wonderful 'And fun? If maths is fun, then getting a tooth extraction is fun. A viral infection is fun. Rabies shots are fun.' 'God exists because Mathematics is consistent, and the devil exists because we cannot prove it' 'Who are you to judge everything?' Alokananda #4 20130417 14:57:30
Re: Berliner's aperiodic tilingThanks! I would like to make these more bigger, but I have a problem to post the picture beacuse of its size. Mathematichs is the queen of sciences C. F. Gauss #5 20130425 02:07:19
Re: Berliner's aperiodic tilingNew tessellation. I hope you enjoy it! Mathematichs is the queen of sciences C. F. Gauss #6 20130425 03:53:30
Re: Berliner's aperiodic tilingHow did you invent these tilings #7 20130425 05:36:53
Re: Berliner's aperiodic tilingI never thought to did these in 3D, I will think... Mathematichs is the queen of sciences C. F. Gauss #8 20130426 10:19:32
