How do you differentiate the following:

'And fun? If maths is fun, then getting a tooth extraction is fun. A viral infection is fun. Rabies shots are fun.'

'God exists because Mathematics is consistent, and the devil exists because we cannot prove it'

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

Lots of ways to approach that one -- what have you tried?

I am a complete beginner

'God exists because Mathematics is consistent, and the devil exists because we cannot prove it'

Try: Quotient Formula: D(f/g) = (g*Df - f*Dg)/(g²) where f(x)=sqrt(1-x²)^(½) and g(x) = 1-x

Also for the 1/2 power: D[f]^n = n*[f]^(n-1) * Df.

I hope this helps.

Writing "pretty" math (two dimensional) is easier to read and grasp than LaTex (one dimensional).

LaTex is like painting on many strips of paper and then stacking them to see what picture they make.

Hm

I guess I have to differentiate things one by one.

I figured it out but its quite boring

What did you get?

I didn't. I just found how to do it.

Okay, it will be tedious at first but easier later. Post if you get stuck.
