Hi Mandy;

Yes, I know him.

I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it.

I am glad a bought that one up. No that is not right the answer is 7.7 the difficult thing might be invent a general rule
like moving the decimal place one space to the left. Do you see what I mean?

I think I should test you on a few more dividing by 10 questions like:
63 divided by 10 ?
7.8 divided by 10 ?
0.56 divided by 10 ?

Hi;

That is entirely up to you. If you are asking about his character, I would say it is good. He is in earnest about his math.

If you feel it will not confuse you then accept all the help you can. You are getting good help from SteveB so you might consider letting him continue to instruct you.

Perhaps, shivam is correct. We can move this thread elsewhere

Hi;

That is not being said to you. You can not move the thread, I can. For me to move it I would have to have your vote too.

I have no thoughts about it either way. If you want it moved and they want it moved, I will move it.
