Re: Banned. Why are people banned?

I do dream a lot when I am awake.

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it.
All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof.

Re: Banned. Why are people banned?

Really, MIF should add more staff members who check literarily every post posted. i.e Stefy, Agnishom and g^r

Give me a lever long enough and a fulcrum on which to place it, and I shall move the world. -Archimedes

Does gar not write his name in a slightly altered way? And bobbym, are their other major issues like D0S attacks?

Re: Banned. Why are people banned?

And you check every post? That's a spectacle on it's own. By the way, you are one of the most dedicated staff members I have ever seen. Also, would you mind helping me on my "in-progress" site?

Re: Banned. Why are people banned?

Hi;

I am not very good for explaining things simply. I also tend to emphasize computer and iterative methods rather than the methods taught in school. But I would help you with any question you ask me.

And bobbym, are their other major issues like D0S attacks?

MIF would know better than me because he has the logs.

Yes, I would appoint more moderators. I would consider those names. But MIF is the boss and even I have to follow orders.

Re: Banned. Why are people banned?

Essentially, the "point" of our site is simply to divert students' attention from schooling methods into more stern and focused methods. To add to that, really I have not completed my courses in all of these subjects so there probably will be many things my contributing friends and I will require assistance with. Anyways, sorry for diverting the original topic of this thread.

No problem, crosstalk happens. We are okay unless the OP complains.

Re: Banned. Why are people banned?

Yes, the moderators can do that. But as everyone knows, moderators do not have to. They never make mistakes.

Re: Banned. Why are people banned?

If I think a post is 'unsuitable' for the forum I take a copy, then wipe it.  That way I can put it back if I make a mistake.

I like that idea. That way you have some evidence.
