Grahams number occurs in combinatorics it is the upper bound of graph theory problem in Ramsey theory.

Because it is too large to be really useful. It shows that they have little understanding of that problem.

For instance supposing you asked how many arrangements of something there were and I said more than 6 but less than
1982738376474848849494984848484899494904023827615552627176156172772727828288282726255353 would you be happy?

That problem is from Ramsey theory and if they know little I know less than little.

Consider an n-dimensional hypercube, and connect each pair of vertices to obtain a complete graph on 2n vertices. Then colour each of the edges of this graph either red or blue.
What is the smallest value of n for which every such colouring contains at least one single-coloured complete subgraph on 4 coplanar vertices?

Is this the problem?
